Stream Deck Mk.2 – Mechanical Buttons, Slimmer Profile

The Stream Deck Mk.2 swaps to mechanical buttons and a slimmer profile – the hardware refresh streamers actually asked for.

The mechanical switches feel substantially better than the rubberized originals, with audible-but-not-distracting tactile feedback. The slimmer profile means it fits cleaner under monitor stands and over keyboard wrist rests.

Software stack

The companion software has been refined – faster scene switching, better integration with OBS 31, and a cleaner UI for managing multi-page button layouts. Plugin compatibility with Mk.1 layouts is preserved.

The EsportForge read: the upgrade is justified for working streamers. For occasional users, the Mk.1 still does the job.
