AMD Zen 6 Leaks – 24-Core Flagship and a 3D-VC Variant
A leaked AMD product roadmap deck circulating on server-tracking forums confirms the Zen 6 launch shape.
24-core flagship, drops to a unified CCD architecture, and a 3D V-Cache variant lands on the same socket. AM5 is fully retained, no upgrade-path break.
What is genuinely new
The unified-CCD design eliminates the latency penalty that has plagued multi-CCD Ryzen for years. Cross-CCD memory access now matches single-CCD performance for most workloads. For competitive gaming and tight-latency workloads, this is the biggest meaningful change in Ryzen since 5000-series X3D.
EsportForge’s read: AM5 lifespan extends meaningfully. If you bought into AM5 in 2022-2023, Zen 6 is your real upgrade target.
